Hens
Various breeds of chicks and point of lay hens
Prices - Prices vary depending on the type of pullet you choose and their age. Prices start from £7 as chicks, to £20 as point of lay and £28 on select point of lay breeds. Amongst our chickens for sale, occasionally we may have a cockerel that would be free to a good home. Please ask if interested.
Free from male chick culling - with welfare being at the heart of what we do at View Farm, we source our chicks from a hatchery that uses technology to test hatching eggs at 9 days of incubation. This means that only female eggs continue to hatch and the usual culling of male day old chicks is redundant.

Breed selection - The breeds we select at View Farm are mostly hybrids, bred to be resilient and hardy, gentle in character and good layers, perfect for those wishing to have their own backyard hens.
The selection of pullets shown below are the breeds that are usually available at View Farm. However, occasionally we also stock other varieties, so please contact us for details on what we currently have available.
